网站设置自定义404页面之后，无法在浏览器中正常显示，该如何解决呢？造成此问题可能是以下原因：
1、404页面文件权限设置错误
我们需要为404页面文件添加上用户everyone的可读权限，右击404页面文件——属性——安全，找到用户everyone（如没有自行添加），修改其权限“读取和运行”和“读取”均赋予允许权限；
2、404页面文件小于512字节
在权限设置正确的情况下，自定义的404页面文件大小如果小于512字节，那么IE内核的浏览器会认为你自定义的404页面不够权威，从而使用其自带的404页面代替；
但在非IE内核的浏览器，如火狐浏览器、Opera浏览器等均能正常显示，所以解决方法是为404页面添加多一些内容，使其大小大于512字节即可；
3、本地IIS也会有影响
404页面文件权限设置正确且大小大于512字节，但在IE内核的浏览器仍然无法显示。通过多次的搜索查找资料，终于得到一点点启示。而后把本地的IIS关闭，测试后不显示。而后直接把本地IIS卸载，测试后成功显示自定义的404页面，其中是什么原因我不明白。
4、title与meta标签的位置影响
在某些环境下如apache，如果meta标签在title标签前面，那么自定义的404页面不会显示。解决方法是将title标签置于meta标签前面，如：
没有找到您要访问的页面</p>
<p><strong>5、浏览器缓存也会有影响</strong></p>
<p>如果以上情况都没错，无数次的刷新仍然无法显示自定义的404页面的话，那么建议用户们清除一下浏览器缓存，看是否可以解决问题。</p>
